We celebrated Parker's 4th birthday at Nana and Papa's house last weekend. We had a really nice time. A few of our friends from Austin came in town for the day and it was fun to let the kids play and swim!
Pops came by too but we missed Mimi!
For some reason, both of these kiddos were unhappy when I was taking their pictures! But don't let them fool you, they had a lot of fun!
Parker liked hitting his pinata, but he really enjoyed opening the candy from it!
Parker has grown up a lot lately but ever since he turned 4, he has become more moody. He is finally taking an interest in letters! He has come a long ways with his speech, but I had him evaluated again and he does need to be further tested. Everything else is on target with his cognitive and motor skills. He will continue in preschool for 3 mornings next year, have swimming lessons this summer, and we are signing him up for soccer in the fall. This boy has a lot of energy, and we have to spend time outdoors everyday and have lots of playtime! His favorite game is "the wrestle game". Chad will move the coffee table and wrestle Ellie and Parker. They love this time with Daddy! Parker also loves playing the Wii and games on the iPhone. He also loves his new leapster from Nana. He loves for us to read to him and his favorite book right now is "Charlie, the Ranch Dog"-a book his Mimi gave him. Parker can be very sensitive and doesn't like for anyone to be "mad" at him. He can be quite the stinker, but also can be so loving and caring! He is always concerned about his sisters and is very protective of them. He is all about his Daddy and loves to spend time with him! He also loves to go to his grandparents' houses and is quick to meet new friends. He loves school too! He is rarely shy and talks to just about everyone! We love you Parker and can't believe what a big boy you are becoming!!!
