A fresh Start

We are all moved in and practically all unpacked. I have a little more organizing to do, but thanks to Nana for coming to help with the kids and to my husband for taking a couple of days off, we were able to work efficiently and get settled quickly. I love our temporary home and feel so blessed to be here even though it isn't our permanent home. I think the pressure of selling a home and making it look presentable everyday was a huge stress for us, so now we can just focus on the kiddos and spending quality time together.

The kids have already met a couple of new friends, and Ellie started her new school today.  (This is a pic of Ellie on the first day of school this year.)  She was nervous when I dropped her off, but she has been such a good sport about it all. There have been some tears and some extra drama lately with all the changes, but she seemed a little excited this morning and had no trouble getting herself ready for school. She is looking forward to riding the bus home later this week with some of the neighborhood kiddos.

October is a busy month for us! We have a lot to be thankful for and even though we are a little nervous about how our future "plans" are going to turn out, we are grateful that God has brought us this far and we'll leave it to Him to get us where we would like to go.
