Reminiscing of Summer Past (part 2)

I apologize for all the pics, but this is the last part of my summer reminiscing.  

We went to the Horseshoe Bay Marriot with Mimi and Pops.  

It ended up being rainy and humid most of the weekend as you can see from my first photo with the lens fogging up. 

The last day we were there it was beautiful and lots of sunshine.  The kids had a blast playing in the sand, lake and pool.

 We celebrate Ellie's 7th Birthday with a small slumber party with some of her friends.  It was fun, but lots of screaming!  I don't know if we will ever have another slumber party again!

 Ellie took horseback riding camp with one of her good friends and had the best time.  It was a week long, all day camp that taught more than just some riding skills.  She loves horses!

We also went to Midland for a few days, played with our cousins and celebrated Hudson's 1st birthday.

Finally, to end our summer of fun, Mimi and Pops took us to the Hyatt in San Antonio.  We love the Hyatt!  Very family friendly and lots of fun! 

Ellie convinced her Pops to get her this Shamu (or maybe he was just tired of hearing her beg for it!).  She loved taking it on the lazy river which was her favorite thing to do all weekend!

The kids had fun being silly in Pop's glasses!  

We had a really great summer of 2010 and we are looking forward to an even better Summer of 2011!!!

Doesn't hurt to think about warm weather right now, does it?  :)
